HELLO!!!!

I am SO sorry I've been MIA for a while!

I've got a bunch of Bisectional drawings from throughout this last school year that I never posted, and i'm gonna get right on that.  I've also got some new posts on my other account , so you can check those out if you'd like.  Lots of glee lol.

I've been working a lot lately (not that that's an excuse for being away, THAT'S just my own damn laziness), and will be heading back to school to start my senior year in a week, and i'm kinda excited to be heading back.  It's my first year not doing marching band though!  So weird!

Anyways, I hope everyone is having an absolutely FABULOUS August.  Love you all!  

Hello everyone!  Just figured I'd update my journal 'cuz it's been a while.  

YAY SUMMER!  My sophomore year of college KICKED MY BUTT.  Made it through though.  I passed my sophomore jury, so aside from recital juries later on, I'm done with those as well!    That's a huge weight off my shoulders.

I'm still drawing, and working on more pages for Bisectional on smackjeeves.  Sorry I haven't been more active.  :/  

Been trying to get a job for the summer, but so far, no luck.

and I'm taking Spanish at my local community college.  O_o
Japanese made so much more sense.

Lastly, my laptop has decided to finally poop on me after 3 years.  Sounds like I'm gonna have to get a new one pretty soon, but I'm not sure when.

So yeah, my summer so far in a nutshell.  How has everyone else been?  Are you guys on summer yet?

Hey guys, so I wanted to make a couple...  I guess you could call them announcements, and I also wanted to come clean a little bit.

First off,
This is my second account.  I created it to post my Bisectional art, and also to do my random internet hugs from.  My original account is   _{also, for those of you over 18, I have a y!gal under the same name!}

Which brings me to my next point.  My name's Haley.  not Nicole.  I'm a sophomore in college studying music education, and am 19 years old.

I hope no one feels like I've lied to them!  That was in no way my intention.  I mean, I'm the same person, just tweaked my age and name a little bit.  XP


On a happier note...
Bisectional is now a webcomic!

I've got a couple pages in the works, and pages 2 and 3 will be up in a few days!  

If you can't tell, I had a lot of fun making the site.  ^^  lots of music references!

Hey guys!  I'm gonna try doing something a little different for this journal entry.  Instead of my normal updates about my life, I wanna know some more about you guys!

What's your absolute favorite song in the whole world?  New, old, obscure, it doesn't matter.  As long as it makes you happy to listen to!

Hello everyone!

How is everyone doing?  Been a few weeks, but a lot has happened for me.

My mouth has been healing nicely from my wisdom teeth surgery.  I'm moved back up at school, been through band camp, and starting my second week of classes.  

Band Camp was a lot of fun.  We got a new G.A. who is SO INTENSE.  He's a stickler for perfection, and really pushes us hard, which is a nice change from our previous G.A.  The clarinet section is super awesome this year, and I like the shows we're going to be doing this year.  Right now we're doing a Styx show, and I'm sure I'll update with how our other shows will go.    The only downside was I pulled my achille's tendon, so my legs hurt like hell for a couple days.  I started stretching better, though, so they healed nicely.

Classes are going ok.  I actually feel like I'm on top of things!  We'll see how long that lasts.  XD  I'm taking mostly music classes, and I'm in Brass Tech this semester (it teaches you the basics of the 4 main brass instruments (Trumpet, Trombone, Horn, and Tuba), so that you can teach it to your students when you're a music educator).  I'm gonna LOVE the tech classes!  I really enjoy learning new instruments.    (And btw, I'm a BEAST at the trombone!  Must run in the family.  ).

And last but certainly not least, we got our concert band audition results back today...

I'm in Wind Symphony!  

Ok, here's how the bands work:  The top band is Wind Ensemble, and there are 3 clarinet spots (1 on each part).  The next highest band is Wind Symphony, with 6 spots (2 on each part).  and lastly there's Symphony Band with however many players there are left.

My first semester, I was 8th chair (last chair) in Symphony Band.  Second semester, I moved up to 6th chair in Symphony Band.  THIS semester, I moved up to 6th chair in Wind Symphony!  I jumped 6 CHAIRS.  I'M SO EXCITED.  X3  I'm really proud of myself, and I plan on working harder to keep moving up.  

So yeah, that's what's been going on with me.
